Here you can find various resources from me, as well as links to websites and books that I find interesting and useful in cultural studies, business, and everyday life in general.

Links

www.xing.com -  In the world of business, this is the ultimate networking site. From college students to CEO’s, you can learn a lot and even get a great job through your network of friends and the groups you belong to.

XING

www.nytimes.com – The New York Times is my link to the US wherever I am in the world.

www.presentationzen.com – Garr Reynold’s site for presentation design. He posts some very interesting presentations from the TED site.

www.ted.com – Some of the most influential and incredible people alive today share their visions with the world.

Books

“When Cultures Collide” by Richard D. Lewis  -  I refer to this text frequently in my research and everyday life. It is especially useful when I go abroad to learn a bit about culture in my new environment to make a better impression on people I meet and to avoid as many cultural misunderstandings as possible.

“Presentation Zen” by Garr Reynolds – I love this book. It reminds me of his lectures at Kansai Gaidai University that I found so engaging, and is also a great reference when preparing a presentation. I recommend this book for anyone that is tired of giving the same old presentations that put the audience to sleep.

From blog

“Our Common Future” is the sustainable development publication from the World Commission on Environment and Development. Although first published in 1987, this book was my biggest resource for my sustainable development thesis. It gives perspective to the challenges and opportunities in sustainable development.
